I work with schools and districts in two critical ways: helping staff start the year strong—and helping them better understand and support the students who need them most.
Through keynote presentations for back-to-school kickoffs, in-service days, and professional development events, I help educators reconnect with their purpose, bring their full energy into the year, and recognize the impact they have on every student they encounter. At the same time, I help schools better understand student experiences—particularly those facing trauma, mental health challenges, and substance exposure—so educators are equipped to recognize the signs, connect with students, and intervene early. This work is deeply personal. I was the student who didn’t always ask for help—the one dealing with challenges at home, navigating emotional pain, and showing signs that were often missed. I also experienced the impact of educators who chose to notice and helped change the trajectory of my life. |
Today, as an attorney and graduate of UCLA School of Law, a former Student Body President at UC Davis, and someone who has worked in admissions and career counseling at University of San Diego School of Law, I bring a perspective that connects student experience with long-term outcomes.
