Too often, students move through college without a clear sense of direction—focusing on classes, but not fully understanding how their experiences connect to their future. I work with students to change that.

As a former Student Body President at UC Davis and a graduate of UCLA School of Law, I’ve lived the college experience at a high level. I’ve also worked with hundreds of students through admissions counseling at UCLA School of Law and career counseling at University of San Diego School of Law, helping them navigate what comes next.

Through my keynotes and workshops, I help students develop vision, build a plan, and take ownership of their college experience—so they don’t just graduate, but graduate prepared.

Students know that they should go to college, but if you ask them what comes next, most would draw a blank. As a result of this, students arrive at college without a plan or real understanding of the valuable role college plays in achieving their dream.
Further, students aren't often college focused as high school students beyond attending.
 
This talk teaches students how to create a vision for their life after college and gives students a good reason to maximize high school in preparation for college. It teaches them the mindset they must develop to bust through the barriers they will face and create the life of their dreams with college as their foundation.

Born To Lead​

Keynote Presentation on Leadership in School & in Life.
When did you realize you were a leader? In reality, we are all born leaders in some fashion or another. Leadership is simply the ability to influence the life of another. And the extent to which we use this ability is up to us.
 
In this talk, Caliph shares hilarious anecdotes about how he discovered he was a leader in the most unlikely of ways. Realizing his power, he sought out opportunities to expand his influence and impact, ultimately serving as President of the Associated Students at UC Davis, and becoming a leader in his chosen profession.
 
He connects students to their leader within and their purpose for leading and shares with them the tools necessary to step fully into their power as leaders and impact change in their school, community & the world.

#You Decide

Keynote Presentation Covering Drug Prevention, Mental Health
Caliph's life story is a harrowing tale of a young man gripped with drug culture and drug addiction at a very young age, who had to overcome addiction, depression & crippling anxiety to ultimately achieve his dream of becoming an attorney. In this presentation, Caliph shares his journey into addiction and recovery. He talks about first using drugs to stop the abuse of his sister, and then using them to fit in and build community; and, finally using them to cope with his pain of losing his mother during college. He became FREE when he almost lost his life and realized that using drugs was his decision, not the result of his circumstances. And if he could decide to use, he could decide to change. He recounts the day he changed his life and decided to never use drugs again, and what was at stake if he did not do that. Finally, he shares his journey of healing and developing a new mindset that has allowed him to stay sober and succeed in business and in life.  Students will leave with an understanding of the power that they have to choose their own destiny, the consequences of choosing drugs, and the benefits of a drug-free life. All presentations can be modified to meet the needs of your group.
